The accident occurred early Tuesday morning in the Bhawapur village of the Nandgram police station area. The three women had gone to the fields to collect radishes when they encountered the fallen power line.

Around 6:30 AM, the high-tension wire, which had snapped and fallen to the ground, posed an unexpected danger. The women were severely electrocuted upon contact with the wire, leading to chaos in the village as news of the incident spread.

According to family members, the women were working on leased farmland, unaware of the threat posed by the downed wire. The sudden incident prompted widespread grief among the families, who are now left to question how the wire came to be on the ground and why it had not been reported to the authorities sooner.
