Tragic Car Accident in Raebareli Claims Three Lives, Two Seriously Injured

Raebareli, February 18: A tragic road accident in Raebareli district, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the deaths of three individuals on Wednesday. Two others sustained serious injuries in the incident, which occurred near Gopalpur village in the Deeh police station area when a speeding car lost control and overturned.

Witnesses reported that the car was traveling at high speed when the driver suddenly lost control, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times off the roadside. The crash was so severe that the car was completely mangled. Two passengers died at the scene, while a third succumbed to injuries while being transported to the hospital.

Local police arrived promptly after receiving news of the accident and initiated rescue operations. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination, and the two critically injured individuals were rushed to the hospital. According to medical staff, both are in critical condition and receiving ongoing treatment.

The scene of the accident was chaotic, with a large crowd gathering. Villagers assisted in extracting the injured from the wreckage. Police removed the overturned vehicle from the road to restore traffic flow.

Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation. Officials stated that all aspects of the accident are being examined to determine the exact causes.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver may have fallen asleep, leading to the crash. Police are currently reviewing nearby CCTV footage to gather accurate information about the incident. They plan to interview the injured for further insights.

Additionally, police are raising awareness among the public about driving slowly in foggy conditions and at night. Continuous patrols are being conducted on the roads, and awareness campaigns are in place to help reduce road accidents.
