The Jammu and Kashmir police, along with other security forces, are committed to maintaining law and order in the region while conducting ongoing operations against terrorism. These forces actively target terrorists, their overground workers, supporters, drug traffickers, and individuals linked to hawala networks.
It is reported that funds generated through drug trafficking and hawala are often used to promote terrorism. Meanwhile, the army and BSF remain deployed along the Line of Control and international borders to monitor infiltration, drug trafficking, and drone activities. Terrorist organizations, aided by Pakistan’s ISI, utilize drones to transport weapons, ammunition, drugs, and cash, which are then distributed to their operatives.
