Tragic Accident in Moradabad Claims Lives of Three Family Members

Lucknow, June 16: A devastating accident occurred in Moradabad on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of three members of the same family after being struck by a state roadways bus. Among the deceased were a pregnant woman and a minor child.

Only one individual survived the incident; he was the motorcyclist and is reported to be in critical condition.

The pregnant woman, her three-year-old child, and her sister died on the spot after being hit by the speeding bus. Although they were rushed to the hospital, they were declared dead upon arrival. The woman’s husband also sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving treatment, with his condition being critical.

Authorities have seized the roadways bus and initiated a search for the driver.

A police officer provided details, stating that the accident involved a family from Sambhal who were traveling to Nagpur on a motorcycle. The motorcyclist, Junaid, has been admitted to the hospital, while his wife, sister-in-law, and daughter succumbed to their injuries.

The horrific accident caused chaos on the road, prompting local residents to rush to assist the affected family. They collaborated with police officers to transport the victims to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, three of them had already passed away by the time they arrived.

The incident took place near the Gagan River on the Delhi Bypass Road.

The impact was so severe that all four individuals on the motorcycle were thrown a considerable distance. The three-year-old girl, named Mantasah, and two women, Simran and the pregnant woman, died at the scene, while the motorcyclist, Junaid, suffered serious injuries.

Upon receiving the report, the Katghar police arrived promptly and transported the injured to the district hospital. Doctors confirmed three fatalities, while one person continues to receive medical care.
