TMC Remembers Rights of Workers, Women, and Youth Only During Elections: Dilip Ghosh

Khargpur, April 20: Political activities have intensified in West Bengal as the assembly elections approach. The ruling party, TMC, and the BJP are engaged in a war of accusations. In this context, BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh has made sharp remarks about Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

In a media interaction, Ghosh stated, “As elections approach, TMC suddenly remembers the rights of workers, women, and youth. They promise jobs during the election period but forget afterward. Meanwhile, since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office, the seventh pay commission has been implemented at the center, and the DA for employees is increasing. However, in West Bengal, employees are being exploited.”

Ghosh further added, “People are now openly protesting. The confidence of party members has increased, and the change is evident. On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi held four rallies in Bengal. He is continuously campaigning from North Bengal to South Bengal. He is fully aware of what is happening. The public and workers are ready for a change in power.”

Responding to Mamata Banerjee’s allegations that the ED is acting on the central government’s orders, Ghosh remarked, “The ED has been working for a year. Their investigations are ongoing across the country wherever corruption is rampant. In Bengal, corruption is at its peak. Many politicians and other businessmen are involved. Therefore, their investigations will continue.”

Previously, Ghosh stated, “The Women’s Reservation Bill has exposed several parties that often talk about women’s empowerment and rights. They did not support this bill, making it clear that they are merely politicizing women’s issues.”

He also mentioned, “Mamata Banerjee wants to buy women’s votes by offering them 1500 rupees. She does not care about women’s safety. The law and order situation in West Bengal has deteriorated to zero. There is no one to listen to the public’s problems. The people are extremely troubled, which is why they are bringing the BJP this time. The public knows which party can bring about their development.”
