Thousands Join Developed Rajasthan Run 2026 as Chief Minister Flags Off Marathon

Jaipur, March 15: The Rajasthan government organized a public participation marathon, ‘Developed Rajasthan Run 2026,’ ahead of Rajasthan Day. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma flagged off the event on Sunday morning, which saw a significant turnout of youth.

Participants included students from universities, colleges, and schools, as well as NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, members of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Hindustan Scouts and Guides, and various young athletes from government and non-government organizations.

BJP legislator Gopal Sharma, speaking at the event, stated, “’Developed Rajasthan 2047′ symbolizes the journey of Rajasthan’s development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, reflecting the efforts and legacy of the state’s historic leaders.”

Addressing the attendees, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma remarked, “Your enthusiasm and spirit will undoubtedly fulfill the commitment to a developed Rajasthan. Through the Fit India campaign, the Prime Minister has conveyed the message of staying healthy. Our country has four key groups: youth, women, farmers, and laborers. If these groups advance, the nation will progress.”

The Chief Minister further emphasized, “The previous government betrayed the youth. Our government has worked to prevent people from being jailed. In just over two years, we have announced over 125,000 vacancies without any paper leaks. Be ready to soar with your dreams; the Rajasthan government stands with you. There are immense business opportunities in the state. The youth policy is providing job opportunities for young people.”

Notably, on the occasion of Rajasthan Day, the state government has planned numerous cultural, social, and sports-related events across the state. The programs, running from March 14 to March 19, aim to promote culture, development, and youth participation.
