Mumbai, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : Telugu actor Nani, known for his impactful roles, is set to release his action film “The Paradise.” However, he has decided not to allow his son to watch it, citing age restrictions. The film has received an ‘A’ certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to its graphic violence and intense scenes, making it suitable only for adult audiences.
During a media interaction in Chennai, Nani addressed concerns about the film’s certification and its potential effect on family audiences. When asked if the ‘A’ rating would prevent children from attending screenings, he acknowledged that the film might alienate younger viewers. “I believe we may lose family audiences, but not every genre appeals to everyone. There are many family films coming soon, including my own,” he stated.
Nani revealed that his son has expressed interest in seeing “The Paradise.” He explained, “He asked me if he could watch it, and I told him, ‘Not at release, but you can see it when I feel you’re ready.’ This is a mainstream film. While the violence is comparable to what you’ve seen in other mainstream movies, the intensity here is much greater. This film will be enjoyable for adults, but children will need to wait a bit longer.”
