Patna, February 24: Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, has once again raised concerns about Chief Minister Nitish Kumar‘s health. He stated that it is unfortunate for the people of Bihar to have an inactive chief minister who is unable to take action against criminal incidents.
In a conversation with the media, Yadav highlighted that the NDA government has been in power for 21 years, during which Bihar has become the poorest and most unemployed state in the country. He pointed out that Bihar faces the highest rates of migration, poverty, and has the least factory investment. The state’s per capita income is the lowest, and it ranks poorly in education, health, and sports. After 21 years of the NDA government, Bihar is now recognized as one of the poorest and most unemployed states in India.
Yadav further claimed that over the past two decades, Bihar has seen a rise in crime, corruption, misgovernance, authoritarianism, and bureaucratic inefficiency. He asserted that the state budget is facing a severe financial crisis, with rampant corruption leaving the treasury empty. The situation is dire, with predictions that there may soon be insufficient funds to pay government employees’ salaries.
He emphasized that they have consistently raised questions, but the government has no answers. The NDA government seems to create distractions instead of addressing the issues at hand.
Commenting on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s health, Yadav noted the frequent occurrences of murder, robbery, and rape, with no actions being taken. It is unfortunate for the people of Bihar to have a chief minister who appears oblivious to these issues.
Yadav accused the government of evading questions regarding the law and order situation in Bihar. He stated that they are asking what measures the government is taking to address the ongoing violence, but sadly, the government remains silent and avoids responding to the opposition’s inquiries.
