Patna, April 5: Tejashwi Yadav, the national executive president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has once again criticized the NDA government. On Sunday, he highlighted issues such as crime, poverty, migration, and corruption, advising the government that without identifying and resolving these problems, they will continue to hide their failures by manipulating institutions like the Election Commission and corrupt officials during elections.
As the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi took to social media to point out that Bihar has the highest rates of crime, poverty, migration, corruption, and unemployment in the country. He noted that Bihar leads in violent crime and kidnapping. Conversely, it also has the lowest literacy rates, per capita income, farmers’ income, and per capita investment.
He further stated that Bihar has the highest number of vacant doctor positions in the country, with approximately 58% of these roles unfilled. Additionally, he mentioned that 14% of Bihar’s population lives in slums, the highest in the nation.
Tejashwi urged, “Seriously reflect on this and explain why, after 21 years of NDA rule, Bihar remains significantly below the national average in all these development indicators?”
He emphasized that under 21 years of NDA governance and 12 years of the double-engine government, Bihar has consistently ranked at the bottom across various social, human, and economic indicators, including education, employment, income, industrial development, production, investment, healthcare, and nutrition.
It is worth noting that Tejashwi is currently on a visit to Jharkhand. Before leaving, he raised questions regarding the state’s liquor ban law, stating that the government’s own officials are flouting the rules.
