TCL Unveils Thunderbird 27Q6A Pro: A Game-Changer in Gaming Monitors

Mumbai, March 26: TCL’s sub-brand FFALCON has introduced the Thunderbird 27Q6A Pro gaming monitor. This 27-inch display is designed with competitive gamers in mind and is priced at 1,665 yuan ($240). It is currently available for purchase on JD.com.

TCL Thunderbird 27Q6A Pro Specifications

The Thunderbird 27Q6A Pro boasts a FAST IPS panel with a 2K resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It features an impressive 320Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time, ensuring smooth visuals and minimal ghosting. Additionally, the monitor provides 178-degree wide viewing angles.

Utilizing Mini LED backlighting with 180 local dimming zones, this monitor enhances contrast and brightness control across the screen. TCL has equipped it with DisplayHDR 600 certification, allowing for a peak brightness of 800 nits.

In terms of color performance, the 27Q6A Pro supports 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of the sRGB spectrum. With a color accuracy rating of ΔE < 2, it guarantees precise color reproduction. The monitor also features 8-bit + FRC panel technology, enabling it to produce up to 10.7 billion colors.

For gamers, the Thunderbird 27Q6A Pro includes a 24.5-inch esports mode tailored for competitive play and MPRT Plus with adjustable overdrive to minimize motion blur. It offers various overdrive settings (standard, fast, ultra-fast) and is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync technology to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering.

Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. To enhance user comfort during long gaming sessions, TCL has integrated hardware-level low blue light technology and DC dimming.

The monitor’s design features an ergonomic stand, allowing for height adjustment up to 125mm, tilt adjustment from -5° to 15°, swivel of ±20°, and pivot rotation of ±90°.
