(Patrika English News) – TCL has expanded its smart home lineup with the launch of its first smart door knob, the K1, in the United States. Priced at $79, the K1 comes with AI-powered security features and multiple unlocking options.

Specifications and Features
The K1 smart lock unlocks in just 0.3 seconds using an AI-enhanced fingerprint sensor that improves accuracy with repeated use. Along with fingerprint access, the device supports password entry, the TCL smart app, and a physical key.

For privacy and security, all data is stored locally on the device instead of relying on cloud servers. Using the companion app, users can generate temporary passcodes, set entry schedules, and monitor real-time access logs.

The lock offers three smart modes – Privacy Mode (admin-only access from inside), Passage Mode (unlocked during high traffic), and Auto-Lock (automatic locking after door closure).

Powered by four AAA batteries, the K1 promises up to 12 months of use and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C. Built with aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, the knob has a brushed metal finish, weighs 1.2kg, and measures 17.5cm x 21cm x 8cm. It also comes with an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Designed for homes, offices, and garages, the K1 is TCL’s latest addition to its growing smart ecosystem.

In related news, TCL has also launched the Q9M RGB-Mini LED TVs with up to 2000 nits brightness and AI-powered features, along with the Q10M Ultra RGB-Mini LED TV, which offers peak brightness of up to 9000 nits.TCL K1 Smart Lock
