Mumbai, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Tanisha Mukerji is set to make her return to the big screen in the upcoming film “Zindagi Phir Bhi Khubsurat Hai,” directed by filmmaker Kapil Kaustubh Sharma. In this film, Tanisha portrays a character navigating various stages of life.
Kapil praised Tanisha, stating that he needed an actress capable of bringing depth and sensitivity to the role. He emphasized her unique emotional understanding, which was essential for the character’s journey through life’s different phases.
“This film is particularly special to me,” Kapil said. “It explores relationships, the passage of time, and the beauty hidden in everyday life. Tanisha has infused her character with a distinct sensitivity that is crucial to the story.”
Set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s Parsi community, “Zindagi Phir Bhi Khubsurat Hai” spans from the 1990s to 2025. The film promises a blend of romance, humor, and emotions. Some scenes were shot in authentic Parsi homes in South Mumbai and the Dadar Parsi Colony.
To ensure authenticity, Kapil collaborated closely with members of the Parsi community, paying special attention to their culture, lifestyle, language, and dialect. This effort aimed to accurately portray the community’s life on screen.
In addition to writing and directing, Kapil is also producing and acting in the film, where he plays a Parsi character whose life journey is central to the narrative. For the older version of his character, he underwent a physical transformation.
The film also features notable actors such as Sushmita Mukherjee, Parveen Dastur, Delnaaz Irani, Tanaz Irani, Shahrukh Cyrus Irani, Dolly Thakore, and Ananya Dutta in significant roles.
“Zindagi Phir Bhi Khubsurat Hai” is expected to debut at international film festivals before its theatrical release.
