Mumbai, March 13: A female doctor stationed at the Jagjivan Ram Hospital in Mumbai Central has been found dead under suspicious circumstances. Her body was discovered in her room within the hospital premises. Following this incident, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
According to Mumbai police, Dr. Anuja Kulkarni was scheduled to perform several surgeries the previous day but did not arrive at the operating theater at the designated time. Her colleagues attempted to contact her multiple times, but she did not answer their calls. The lack of communication raised concerns among her fellow doctors.
A junior doctor eventually went to her room on the fourth floor and knocked on the door, but received no response. Growing suspicious, he peered through the glass of the door and saw Dr. Kulkarni lying on the floor near her chair. Alarmed by the sight, he immediately informed the hospital administration.
