Ayodhya, June 12: A ceremony to unveil the statue of Acharya Kishore Kunal took place at the Amava Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The event was marked by reverence and respect, with Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister and Ayodhya’s in-charge minister Sunil Pratap Shahi leading the unveiling. A large gathering of saints, social workers, public representatives, and devotees attended the ceremony.

Minister Sunil Pratap Shahi remarked that Acharya Kishore Kunal’s life exemplified dedication to social service, nationalism, and eternal culture. His contributions related to Ayodhya and the Ram Janmabhoomi will always be remembered. His thoughts, actions, and personality will continue to inspire future generations.

Former MP Dhananjay Singh spoke to reporters, highlighting Acharya Kishore Kunal’s significant contributions to the Ram Temple. He noted that Kunal had worked extensively for Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and religious causes. He consistently served humanity and guided people on the path of faith. Even during his administrative career, he accomplished remarkable work that will be remembered for years to come.

Singh also mentioned that Acharya Kishore Kunal had documented many insights in his book. He emphasized the importance of learning from Kunal’s teachings, particularly regarding the Ram Temple, which were validated by the Supreme Court. Kunal served as a special officer in the Ayodhya department of the Indian government for many years, playing a crucial role in judicial, historical, and documentation-related tasks concerning the Ram Janmabhoomi, which the nation will always cherish.

Speakers at the event noted that Acharya Kishore Kunal authored two significant books on Ayodhya. Under his guidance, the “Ram Rasoi” service project was initiated, providing meals to thousands of devotees and those in need. Additionally, he contributed ₹10 crores for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple through the Mahavir Mandir Trust. Attendees paid tribute to his contributions, remembering him as a visionary, social worker, and devout personality.

After the program, Sayana Kunal reflected on Acharya Kishore Kunal’s character and achievements, stating that he made remarkable contributions to religion, culture, and humanitarian service, both during and after his administrative career.
