New Delhi, July 29: During a protest by the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP), students made indecent remarks against Prime Minister Modi. Following the circulation of videos on social media, BJP lawmakers condemned the behavior. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Dharmshila Gupta stated that the language used by the students clearly embarrassed their mothers.
In an interview in New Delhi, Gupta expressed her dismay over the vulgar comments made by students at Jantar Mantar, remarks that were too offensive to hear. She emphasized that the students’ actions were shameful and that they had let down their families. Instead of becoming responsible citizens, they succumbed to the opposition’s provocations and engaged in indecent behavior, making them unworthy of an apology.
Regarding the paper leak bill, Gupta remarked, “The opposition has a habit of disrupting the house whenever it is in session. They do not want discussions on national interest. The paper leak is merely an excuse. Previous governments have seen numerous paper leaks in Karnataka, Jharkhand, and Punjab. Our Prime Minister is committed to the welfare of students and has introduced legislation that imposes a 10-year prison sentence and a fine of 10 crores for anyone tampering with exams. However, the opposition is creating a ruckus because they are not interested in development or the country.”
On the E-20 issue, Gupta responded to Kejriwal’s statements, saying that the Delhi public has rejected him. Now, he is focused on Punjab, attempting to mislead and incite students once again. She added that Kejriwal, in his despair over defeat, is seeking the support of students, engaging in dirty politics. He should reflect on his actions and consider stepping back.
In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s comments, Gupta stated that he is out of touch with reality. He was not present in the country during the significant protests and is now trying to incite unrest from abroad. He has no connection to Bihar, which has rejected him.
