
Bhubaneswar, May 18: BJP National President Nitin Naveen highlighted the need for strong coordination between the government and the party organization during his two-day visit to Odisha on Monday.
In a speech at the BJP state core committee meeting held at the party’s state office, Naveen urged party leaders to enhance collaboration between the party organization and the government in the state.
He shared on X that he engaged in meaningful discussions with party workers on various topics during a district training session organized under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Campaign in Bhubaneswar. Naveen emphasized that the BJP is the world’s largest political party, and its responsibilities are equally vast. With the spirit of ‘Nation First,’ every worker prioritizes national interest and is committed to advancing public service.
In a conversation with media personnel, MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi described the meeting as highly enlightening and inspiring, stating that its primary goal was to strengthen the party organization in Odisha. Sarangi noted that the national president instructed party workers to actively participate in public awareness campaigns and enhance dialogue with the grassroots.
He mentioned that workers were encouraged to raise public issues before the government under their organizational responsibilities and ensure solutions to people’s problems. According to Sarangi, the national president also stressed the importance of extending the BJP’s anti-corruption campaign to every village and making governance more transparent and free from corruption.
He added that the national president reviewed ongoing initiatives, including efforts to reach women, public awareness rallies, and women’s conferences, urging party leaders to expand these campaigns across the state.
Sarangi also indicated that discussions took place regarding organizational strength ahead of the upcoming Panchayat and urban local body elections. The national president called on party officials to develop comprehensive strategies and action plans for the elections. He stated that the meeting provided clear organizational direction to BJP workers in Odisha and infused them with new enthusiasm.
Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram mentioned that the core committee meeting primarily focused on strengthening coordination between the government and the party organization in Odisha. Oram noted that the party president provided significant guidance on improving coordination and communication between the government and the BJP’s organizational structure.
He stated that leaders and party officials would work towards implementing the directives and suggestions given during the meeting to further strengthen the organization and improve its operations at all levels.
