
New Delhi, June 26: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 49 positions of Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) under the Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025 for the Central Secretariat Service (CSSC) in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
The online application process for these positions commenced on June 25 and will close on July 16. Candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official SSC portal until 11 PM on the deadline date.
After successfully applying online, candidates must send a hard copy of their registration form along with all relevant documents to the following address: Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), Block No. 12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, by post on or before 6 PM on July 23.
For candidates residing abroad, in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep, the deadline for submitting the printed copy of the online application form along with necessary documents is set for 6 PM on July 30.
Applicants must have completed their 12th grade from a recognized board or an equivalent institution. Permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group ‘C’ employees with a grade pay of ₹1,800 are eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates must have completed at least three years of regular service as a Group ‘C’ employee with a grade pay of ₹1,800 by August 1, 2025. Candidates are also required to pass a typing test.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled for August 1, 2025, evaluation of service records, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.
