
Varanasi, March 4: The Kashi Vishwanath Dham temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, hosted the vibrant festival of ‘Phool Holi’ on Wednesday. Devotees experienced a traditional and spiritually uplifting atmosphere while celebrating this joyous occasion.
The floral festivities took place at the Shankaracharya Chowk within the temple complex, drawing a large crowd of participants eager to join in the celebrations.
Officials reported that the event featured not only the throwing of flowers but also a variety of cultural programs, including devotional songs and traditional performances, which enhanced the festive spirit.
The temple administration collaborated with police and other agencies to ensure that the festival remained peaceful, safe, and dignified.
One devotee expressed their joy to a news agency, stating, “We are very happy to celebrate Phool Holi here. The atmosphere is very pleasant and spiritual. It feels very safe.”
