Due to this event, traffic arrangements in and around the stadium will be altered.
This concert marks the grand finale of Sonu Nigam’s Satrangi Re tour, where the singer will present an enchanting evening of his popular songs. To ensure the safety and convenience of the audience, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place on certain roads. The traffic police have requested that travelers avoid affected areas from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the day of the event, as a large number of attendees are expected, leading to potential traffic congestion.
The affected roads include a complete diversion on IP Marg (MGM Road). Traffic will also be impacted on Vikas Marg. Heavy vehicles will be prohibited from entering the Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Depot. No heavy vehicles will be allowed to proceed from Rajghat towards IP Marg. Restrictions will also apply to both carriageways of the flyover.
Vehicles parked without permission on nearby roads will be towed, and legal action will be taken. Gate Numbers 21 and 22 are on the Ring Road, with access from MGM Road. Gate Numbers 16 and 18 are also on the Ring Road, with entry routes from MGM Road.
Parking around the stadium is limited, and only vehicles with designated labels will be allowed. It is mandatory to display the parking label clearly on the windshield, which must include the vehicle’s registration number. Vehicles without valid parking labels will not be permitted near the stadium. Label holders are advised to use the Ring Road for access. Entry to parking areas will only be from MGM Road, and no vehicles will be allowed to park on the Ring Road from Rajghat to IP.
The traffic police have urged all travelers to use public transport or select alternative routes in advance. Heavy crowds are expected during the concert, so attendees should leave early and keep checking the official app or social media pages for traffic updates.
