Mumbai, March 20: The film ‘Dhurandhar 2,’ starring Ranveer Singh, has taken the spotlight since its release, with each scene packed with suspense.
Each character in the film has a unique story, making them special. One such character is Ulfat Hussain, portrayed by Soumya Tandon. Although her role is brief, she has made a significant impact with her limited screen time. Previously known as ‘Gauri Ma’am,’ she has now earned the title of ‘Slap Queen.’
Soumya’s journey from Gauri Ma’am to Slap Queen began with the first installment of ‘Dhurandhar’ and continued in the sequel. At the success party for ‘Dhurandhar-2,’ she humorously recreated a scene where she playfully slaps Ranveer Singh. She revealed that he often referred to her as the ‘Slap Queen’ on set.
For those who haven’t seen the film, Soumya has several impactful scenes at the beginning of ‘Dhurandhar 2,’ where she mourns at the grave of Rahman Dacoit. When she sees Hamza Ali approaching, she gives him a hard slap for failing to save Rahman. Unbeknownst to Ulfat, it was Hamza himself who killed Rahman.
In the first part of the film, Ulfat slapped Rahman Dacoit due to a feud that led to her son’s demise. Although her role is small, it is powerful. In the sequel, her character remains significant, though her screen time is limited.
Speaking of the success party, all characters from ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar-2’ were seen enjoying themselves together. From singers to minor characters, everyone made their presence felt. The actresses Crystal D’Souza and Ayesha Khan also participated, performing the hit song ‘Tenu Shararat Sikhawa,’ which has become a favorite among audiences.
