Sonam Khans Charming Snow Experience Captivates Yash Chopra

Mumbai, April 22: Veteran actress Sonam Khan made her debut in Hindi cinema with the film “Vijay.” Recently, she shared an intriguing story from the film’s shoot on Instagram. The actress recounted the challenges she faced during her first film shoot.

Sonam revealed that she traveled to Switzerland for the first time while filming “Vijay.” Excited to see snow up close, she amusingly began to eat it.

She wrote, “Yash Chopra couldn’t help but laugh at my innocence. He sensed the child within me at that moment.”

However, her experience took a turn when all her luggage was lost upon arriving in Switzerland. She expressed her distress, stating, “My bag contained special outfits designed by Bhanu Athaiya. I cried like a child because I had nothing left for the shoot.”

To avoid halting production, Sonam had to shop immediately in Switzerland. She explained, “It was summer there, so only small clothes were available in stores. With no other option, I wore a small skirt over a swimming costume to complete the song shoot.”

Sonam also mentioned that she had no prior experience in dancing. She noted, “There was no preparation or rehearsal for the song, which made it quite challenging to keep the rhythm. Despite all the obstacles, I thoroughly enjoyed that time. It was one of the most memorable journeys of my life.”

Directed by Yash Chopra, the film “Vijay” was released in 1988 and starred Rishi Kapoor alongside Sonam.
