Badshahs Drone Mishap: A Sign of Success or Just a Marketing Stunt?

Mumbai, April 21: Singer and rapper Badshah is known for his chart-topping hits, but he also faces controversies over his lyrics. On Tuesday, he shared an intriguing story about a recent incident during a music video shoot.

He posted a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, showcasing a drone camera flying dangerously close to him. In a playful moment, Badshah threw a cloth at the drone, causing it to lose balance and crash to the ground.

Typically, artists are distressed when expensive equipment breaks, but Badshah took it in stride. He humorously remarked, “In our culture, a drone crashing during a shoot is considered auspicious.”

He hinted that similar incidents occurred during the making of his previous hits, ‘Daku’ and the recently released ‘Tattiri.’

Following his post, social media reactions poured in. One user commented, “And we call this a marketing hook. Full support to you, Badshah!”

Badshah’s music has garnered significant popularity. His 2024 release, ‘Daku,’ from the album ‘Ek Tha Raja,’ is a well-known hip-hop track featuring Sharvi Yadav’s vocals and produced by Hiten. The song is celebrated for its fast beats, rap, and swagger.

On the other hand, his song ‘Tattiri’ became one of the most controversial tracks of the year. Released in March 2026, it faced backlash due to objectionable lyrics and visuals. The Haryana Women’s Commission issued a legal notice, prompting Badshah to apologize and re-release the song as ‘Tattiri Phir Se’ after removing the contentious lyrics.
