Six Years Since Ram Temple Ground A New Era for Ayodhya

Ayodhya, August 6: On August 5, the completion of six years since the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ram Temple was celebrated in Ayodhya by saints of the Sanatan Dharma and local residents, who deemed it a historic occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Ram Temple on August 5, 2020, marking the beginning of a new chapter in both development and faith for Ayodhya.

Mahatma Deveshacharya Ji Maharaj of Siddh Peeth Hanumangarhi expressed, “Today is a historic day and moment for all followers of Sanatan Dharma and devotees of Lord Ram. It was on this day, August 5, 2020, that a 500-year-long struggle ended when the Prime Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony and laid the foundation stone of the Ram Temple.”

He urged all devotees to celebrate this day by lighting lamps at home and praying for the country’s progress and prosperity.

Swami Narendracharya Maharaj also highlighted the significance of the day. He stated, “Today is truly special for all followers of Sanatan Dharma, as it marks the day when the Prime Minister laid the foundation of the historic Ram Temple after years of struggle by the Hindu community. It is a matter of pride for all of us. We also appeal to people to light lamps in their homes and focus their thoughts on Mathura.”

Mahamantrishwar Vishnu Das Maharaj declared the groundbreaking ceremony as the beginning of Ramraj. He noted, “When the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone during the groundbreaking ceremony on August 5, 2020, it marked the start of Ramraj. Today, India is moving forward on the path to becoming a world leader. Our PM Modi is like Vishwamitra, who has made friends with the world. Since his arrival in power, remarkable development has occurred in Ayodhya.”

Iqbal Ansari, a former party to the Babri Masjid case, also commented on the transformed landscape of Ayodhya post-Ram Temple construction. He stated, “Development has taken place in Ayodhya, job opportunities have increased, and all amenities are now available. This is the contribution of both the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister. Whether it’s ponds, roads, parks, airports, or railway stations, all have seen development. The people of Ayodhya have benefited, and this land is now considered sacred. The Ram Temple has been built, people are visiting, worshipping, and Ayodhya has become a special place.”
