Arunachal Pradesh Achieves Remarkable Development Progress, Says Governor Parnaik

Itanagar, August 6: Arunachal Pradesh Governor K.T. Parnaik announced on Wednesday that the state has made significant strides in development over the past few years. He confirmed that the Lok Bhavan will remain accessible to citizens, students, entrepreneurs, artists, farmers, and representatives of civil society.

On Wednesday, the Governor inaugurated the new Governor’s Secretariat building at Lok Bhavan in Itanagar. The event was attended by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and senior officials from the state government.

While dedicating the building to the people of the state, Parnaik emphasized that Lok Bhavan truly belongs to the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh. He highlighted that this institution serves as a platform for dialogue, cultural exchange, youth engagement, and public interest, bringing governance closer to the people.

He urged the public to consider Lok Bhavan as their home, dedicated to the welfare and progress of every citizen in Arunachal Pradesh.

Parnaik further stated that every visitor to Lok Bhavan should feel a sense of pride and ownership, as it represents the collective hopes, achievements, and rich cultural heritage of the state.

Appreciating the building’s excellent quality and architectural grandeur, the Governor noted that Arunachal Pradesh is consistently setting new benchmarks in public infrastructure development.

He mentioned that the state has successfully established prestigious institutions that uniquely blend efficiency, aesthetics, and modern engineering.

Citing the grand Arunachal Pradesh Assembly and the impressive High Court complex as examples, he said these historic buildings have received widespread acclaim for their design, utility, and symbolic significance.

He stressed that such world-class infrastructure reflects the state’s growing aspirations and commitment to good governance, showcasing Arunachal Pradesh as a progressive and future-oriented state in the country.

Congratulating the Lok Bhavan family, the Chief Minister remarked that Lok Bhavan has emerged as a vibrant institution that connects people from various sectors, communities, and cultures. He noted that this institution continues to serve as a shared platform that fosters unity, understanding, and a sense of belonging.
