Shrikant Shinde, a Shiv Sena MP and son of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has targeted Rahul Gandhi directly.
In a post on the social media platform X, Shrikant Shinde stated that Rahul Gandhi has proven he is unfit to lead his party and is now showing he is also unqualified to serve as the Leader of the Opposition in India.
Referencing a quote from Mark Twain, he wrote, “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.”
He further criticized Congress for choosing protests and theatrics over serious issues at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hosting a global AI summit. Shinde expressed disappointment that Congress workers are taking actions that embarrass the nation during such a significant event.
