Mumbai, July 11: Shreya Kalra, a contestant on “Lock Up: Truth or Punishment,” has accused actor Kushal Tandon of flirting with her, despite his relationship with actress Shivangi Joshi. In response to these allegations, Kushal’s sister, Tina Tandon, has come forward to defend him.
Tina urged the public, “Please refrain from forming opinions until both sides are heard.” Currently, Kushal is participating in the reality show “Alliance.” These claims emerged after the promotional shoot for “Barsaaten – Mausam Pyaar Ka.”
Shreya also mentioned that she stepped back upon learning about Kushal and Shivangi’s relationship. To clear any misunderstandings, she even showed her phone to Shivangi to dispel any doubts.
Tina took to Instagram to address the rumors, stating, “Rumors will always circulate, but the truth remains strong.” She added, “I usually do not comment publicly on such matters, but the recent discussions regarding my brother Kushal and his past relationship are not true; they represent only one side of the story.”
Tina emphasized, “As he is currently on the show and cannot respond himself, I request everyone to listen to both sides before forming an opinion. Fairness begins there. Thank you to those who choose support over speculation.”
In 2025, Kushal announced on social media that he and Shivangi had separated, although he later deleted that post. They began dating while working on “Barsaaten – Mausam Pyaar Ka.” Currently, Kushal is a contestant on “Alliance,” while Shivangi and Shreya are competing in “Lock Up 2.”
