Shocking Murder of Notorious Bandit Jagan Gurjar Revealed: Cause of Death Disclosed in Autopsy Report

Jaipur, July 1: The murder of infamous bandit Jagan Gurjar, which occurred on June 29 in Ajmer High Security Jail, has taken a shocking turn following the autopsy report. Initial findings indicate that Gurjar died due to strangulation, resulting in a fracture of the hyoid bone in his neck. Medical professionals confirmed that excessive pressure on his throat and neck led to his demise.

The autopsy, conducted by a board of six doctors, revealed that Gurjar suffered internal bleeding in the middle section of his neck. Additionally, severe injuries were found around the trachea and esophagus. Preliminary investigations suggest that he succumbed to asphyxiation within three minutes of the attack.

On Wednesday morning, around 7:30 AM, Gurjar’s body was transported to his ancestral village, Bhavutipura, in the Dholpur district. Villagers and supporters began gathering for the last rites as early as 6 AM. His funeral is scheduled for today.

Following the murder, Gurjar’s family has been persistently demanding justice. After reaching an agreement with the authorities, the autopsy was conducted in Ajmer on Tuesday. Subsequently, the family took the body to Dholpur for the final rites.

Amid tight security, Gurjar’s younger brother, Papu Gurjar, was also brought from Ajmer to Dholpur late Tuesday night to attend the funeral.

Family members allege that Vishnu, an accused in the Bharatpur Kuldeep Jaghina murder case, strangled Jagan Gurjar with his own towel inside the jail. At the time of the incident, both Vishnu and Gurjar were notorious inmates housed in the same cell.

Currently, police are investigating the entire matter. This murder within the walls of Ajmer High Security Jail, regarded as one of the safest in the state, raises serious questions about the jail administration’s security protocols.

The investigation has also revealed that the CCTV camera in the cell where the incident occurred was malfunctioning at the time.
