BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj Celebrates Durga Puja at Ramakrishna Mission
Bansuri Swaraj visited Ramakrishna Mission for Durga Puja, emphasizing the significance of Kanya Poojan and womens empowerment.
New Delhi, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : BJP Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj visited the Ramakrishna Mission in New Delhi on October 18 to participate in the Durga Puja festivities. During her visit, she offered prayers and took part in various rituals held in honor of the goddess.
Expressing her joy at being at the mission on Mahasaptami, Swaraj highlighted the site as a center of faith and spirituality. She noted the divine presence of the goddess in the Durga Puja pandal, saying, “Today, you will see that the eyes of the goddess are so captivating that I was mesmerized and stood there in awe.”
Swaraj wished that the festivals of Navratri and Durga Puja bring prosperity, happiness, peace, and good health to everyone. She prayed for guidance from both Goddess Durga and her Gurudev.
Discussing the importance of Kanya Poojan, she emphasized that this tradition is not confined to North India. The observance at the Ramakrishna Mission illustrates the widespread significance of this practice.
She explained that young girls embody the form of Navadurga. Kanya Poojan serves not only as a religious ritual but also as a reminder of the importance of daughters in society. This tradition urges us to care for girls, provide them with quality education, proper upbringing, and empower them.
Swaraj called on everyone to understand the deeper message behind Kanya Poojan. She stated that honoring and empowering daughters is essential for building a strong society. She urged people to engage in Kanya Poojan not just as a tradition but to commit to ensuring a bright future for girls. During her visit, she also prayed for happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health for all.
