
Mumbai, April 14: A shocking murder case has emerged from Dadar, Mumbai, where a man was brutally beaten to death. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The victim has been identified as Ankush Amborkar. Reports indicate that the attack occurred around 9:30 PM in front of his wife.
According to police, Ankush had gone to meet a friend in Dadar when he was confronted by an old rival, Gaurav Sans. An argument ensued, escalating into a violent altercation. Gaurav, along with his friends, allegedly launched a lethal attack on Ankush, leaving him severely injured.
The assailants repeatedly struck Ankush on the street, causing grave injuries. At the time of the attack, Ankush’s wife, Prabhadevi, was working as a security guard near the Siddhivinayak Temple. Upon learning of the incident, she rushed to the scene with her colleagues to try and save her husband.
Despite her efforts to rescue him from the attackers, Ankush had already sustained serious injuries. Following the incident, a crowd gathered, allowing the assailants to flee. The police arrived promptly and transported Ankush to KEM Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
Based on his wife’s complaint, Dadar police have registered a case against Gaurav Sans and his associates. So far, six suspects have been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
It has been reported that both the victim and the accused previously worked together but had separated some time ago. However, disputes between them had persisted, leading to previous altercations, which had also been reported to the police.
