Shocking Murder in Barabanki: Man Kills Youth and Takes Severed Head Home

Mumbai, March 28: A horrific incident unfolded in the Tikaitnagar area of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday. A young man, identified as 21-year-old Bablu from Para Behta village, was brutally murdered over a minor dispute. The attacker, named Shankar, not only killed Bablu but also carried his severed head home.

The gruesome nature of the crime shocked the local community. After the murder, Shankar returned to his home and began cooking as if nothing had happened. When police raided his residence, they discovered Bablu’s severed head inside, leaving officers horrified.

Bablu was the eldest of three brothers and worked hard to support his family, which includes his wife and two young children. On the day of the incident, he had gone out to sell ice when he had a confrontation with Shankar near Parsawal village.

Reports indicate that a trivial argument escalated, leading Shankar to attack Bablu with a sharp weapon, decapitating him in broad daylight. Instead of fleeing, Shankar took the severed head back to his home.

Upon receiving the information, Superintendent of Police Arpit Vijayvargiya dispatched a large police force to the village. Upon arrival at Shankar’s home, officers were stunned to find him calmly preparing food while Bablu’s head lay nearby. The police quickly apprehended Shankar and recovered the severed head.

This brutal murder has instilled fear and outrage throughout the Tikaitnagar area. Bablu’s death has left his wife and two innocent children in deep sorrow.

Shankar has been arrested, and the police superintendent stated that while the initial investigation suggests a case of insanity and personal dispute, thorough questioning is underway to uncover the true motives behind such extreme brutality.
