Shocking Allegations: Headmaster Arrested for Rape of Minor Student in Jharkhand

Chatra, April 10: A disturbing incident has emerged from the Scheduled Caste Residential Girls’ School located in the Hunterganj block of Chatra district, Jharkhand. A 14-year-old girl, who is a third-grade student residing in the school hostel, was found to be pregnant during a medical examination.

Allegations have surfaced that the headmaster of the school was responsible for the assault. This revelation has sparked an atmosphere of anger and fear not only within the school premises but throughout the district.

Upon learning of the incident, the victim’s family arrived at the school and staged a vigorous protest, accusing the school management of significant lapses in security and negligence. In light of the seriousness of the case, police acted swiftly and arrested the accused headmaster.

As tensions escalated, Prabhat Kumar, the officer in charge of Hunterganj police station, arrived at the scene with police personnel to calm the agitated villagers. Under police protection, both the student and the accused headmaster, Shankar Prasad, were taken to the police station, where they were interrogated for several hours in the presence of senior administrative officials.
