New Delhi, May 14: Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has authored a book titled ‘Apnapan’, centered on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The book is set to be launched on May 26 in Delhi, as announced through his social media channels. Chouhan describes this work as a documentation of his 35 years of experience, allowing readers worldwide to gain insight into PM Modi’s personality.
In a video shared on X, Chouhan expressed that over three decades of public life alongside PM Modi in various roles has provided him with a unique perspective on the Prime Minister’s character, leadership, service, governance, and dedication to the nation. He humbly stated that ‘Apnapan’ encapsulates these experiences, emotions, inspirations, and life values. The book’s launch will take place at 10:30 AM at the NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi. He believes that this book will inspire all readers, especially the youth, to actively participate in building a developed India with a focus on service, empathy, patriotism, and public welfare.
In the video, Chouhan remarked that sometimes in life, one works with someone whom the world sees as a leader, but he perceives them as a seeker, a dedicated worker, and an extraordinary individual. Writing this book was not merely about putting words on paper; it was an attempt to weave together the 35 years he has closely experienced with Prime Minister Modi.
Chouhan noted that while people often see Modi delivering speeches on stage, he has witnessed the man who, after working tirelessly, stands ready the next morning with the same energy for the nation.
He recalled the 1991 Unity March, which many viewed merely as a political rally. However, Modi transformed it into a campaign for political awareness, emphasizing that the flag should reach not just Lal Chowk but also the hearts of every youth in the country. This realization taught him that leadership comes not from speeches but from dedication, good governance, and being close to the people.
Regarding the purpose of the book, Chouhan stated that these experiences should not remain mere memories; hence, they have been compiled into a book. He believes that activists and organizations will see how large goals can be achieved through unity, good governance, dedication, and hard work. The youth will understand that by addressing people’s issues and working diligently, change can be realized.
