Mumbai, March 20: Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has sharply reacted to Raj Thackeray’s statement regarding the Middle East. She emphasized that Thackeray should have faith in the Indian government, which is capable of making decisions independently.
In a recent statement, Thackeray suggested that India should have supported Iran. Responding to this, Shaina NC stated, “The government is capable of making decisions without consulting Raj Thackeray. However, those who offer advice should show some trust in the government.”
She highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always believed in the deep relationship between India and Iran, which extends beyond trade. India has maintained dialogue with Iran regarding basmati rice exports and the Chabahar Port.
Additionally, Shaina NC supported Shashi Tharoor’s remarks, where he asserted that Parliament should be used for discussion and debate, not for chaos amid the Congress uproar.
“Shashi Tharoor is absolutely right. The purpose of Parliament is to engage in discussion. Many Congress leaders are inspired by Tharoor and want to express their views. However, some have the courage to speak, while others do not. The truth is that Congress is sinking,” she stated.
On Chief Minister Yogi’s comments about ‘Ram Rajya’, Shaina NC remarked, “There is Ram Rajya in India. There is faith and belief here. Therefore, there is no war, only positive thinking and trust.”
Regarding the controversy surrounding Nora Fatehi’s song, she said, “Bollywood should be responsible. The Indian Penal Code, IT Act, POCSO Act, and the National Commission for Women are meant to ensure the right message is conveyed in society. When inappropriate visuals or words are used, we must consider what lessons we are imparting to the youth. To preserve our culture and civilization, let the National Commission for Women do its job.”
