Virat Kohli Responds to Charter Flight Rumors Amid IPL 2026

New Delhi, March 22: A false report claimed that Virat Kohli requested a charter flight for travel between India and London during IPL 2026, expressing a desire to return home. The star batsman dismissed this rumor with humor.

The report, shared by an Instagram account named ‘WorldInLast24Hours’, suggested that Kohli allegedly asked the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) management for charter flight arrangements. It stated that Kohli would want to travel to the UK when there is a gap of more than three days between two matches and return just before the next game.

However, the former RCB captain completely rejected the claim. Kohli shared a screenshot of the now-deleted post on his Instagram story, adding some laughing emojis.

The Instagram handle mentioned that their account crashed after Kohli’s reaction to the post. They shared a screenshot of their analytics, stating, “Our account crashed after Virat Kohli’s story.”

Earlier, Kohli addressed a small group of Indian players during the team’s first training session, encouraging them to perform their best in the upcoming weeks. He emphasized, “We have worked hard over the last two to three seasons to achieve what we did last year. Now it will be even tougher, as other teams will come prepared against us.”

The former Indian captain, who leads the list of highest run-scorers in IPL history, stressed the importance of being fully prepared from day one. “We will not waste these days. We will stay ahead. So, get ready. We won’t waste a single minute of any session we are part of. We need to give our 120 percent in these two and a half months.”
