Shenzhou-23 Crew Continues Scientific Research and Health Management During National Holiday

Beijing, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : The crew of the Shenzhou-23 mission, consisting of astronauts Zhu Yangzhu, Qiang Qiyuan, and Li Chaying, remained on duty at the Chinese space station during the National Day holiday. They have been in orbit for over four months.

To celebrate the Autumn Festival and National Day, the astronauts adorned the space station, creating a festive atmosphere. In addition to this, they systematically conducted various tasks, including space science experiments, maintenance of the assembly platform, and health management.

The team utilized an online Raman spectrometer to analyze metabolic components in urine samples. They researched gut microbiota and nutrient metabolism, as well as brain and human-machine adaptation under multi-tasking conditions.

In the field of microgravity physics, the crew completed several tasks, such as installing inertial particle experiment modules in the online maintenance and adjustment cabinet, changing samples in the fluid physics experiment cabinet, and maintaining the electrodes of the axial mechanism.

Furthermore, the astronauts performed in-orbit maintenance on the life ecology experimental cabinet and replaced the humidity control unit module.
