
Mumbai, August 17: Shaina NC, a leader of the Shiv Sena, has responded to various issues, including Mehbooba Mufti’s statements and the controversy surrounding Independence Day celebrations in Punjab.
In an interview, Shaina NC referred to those who align with the “tukde-tukde gang,” questioning the military and surgical strikes, opposing Vande Mataram and the national flag, and running foreign-funded NGOs. She suggested that Mehbooba Mufti might fit into this category.
Regarding the Independence Day controversy in Punjab, Shaina NC expressed sadness over the current political climate. She noted that while Independence Day should be a time of celebration, petty politics are overshadowing the festivities.
On the FDA’s actions against certain actors promoting pan masala, Shaina NC supported the FDA’s decisions, stating they are doing the right thing.
Commenting on the Jharkhand government’s initiative to engage with students, Shaina NC emphasized the importance of dialogue with children. She labeled Rahul Gandhi as a “leader of propaganda,” pointing out his silence on Jharkhand issues while he protests at Jantar Mantar and outside the Prime Minister‘s residence. She criticized this duality in his approach.
In response to a statement made by a Congress leader regarding Gopinath Munde, Shaina NC remarked that Prithviraj Chavan seems to have forgotten that Munde was a dedicated volunteer and an OBC leader whose heart beat solely for the “lotus” symbol.
