Shaina NC Criticizes Opposition Over Voter List Review, Claims Rahul Gandhi is Seeking Excuses for 2029 Defeat

Mumbai, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena leader and spokesperson Shaina NC has targeted the opposition, accusing them of opposing the Special Intensive Review (SIR) of the voter list to protect the interests of illegal residents. She specifically called out Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that the opposition is already looking for excuses for a potential defeat in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. According to her, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to win with a significant majority in the upcoming elections.

In an interview, Shaina NC stated that the SIR is a constitutional responsibility being carried out in accordance with the law. If the opposition has objections, they should address them with the relevant authorities. She alleged that the opposition aims to shield voters whose names are supposedly included in the voter list illegally. Shaina NC further accused Rahul Gandhi of having an agenda that favors illegal immigrants, including Rohingyas and Bangladeshi citizens. She warned that if the opposition faces defeat, they might blame the SIR, electronic voting machines (EVMs), the Election Commission, the Supreme Court, the Prime Minister, and even the public for their loss, labeling these claims as mere excuses.

She predicted that the Congress party could face its fourth consecutive defeat in the upcoming elections. Shaina NC urged the opposition to reflect on their political standing and electoral strategy instead of questioning constitutional processes in search of reasons for their anticipated loss.

On the topic of protests at Jantar Mantar, she emphasized that no political party has the right to break the law while demonstrating. She stated that precautionary actions could be taken against those who violate the law and advised protesters to introspect and consider their objectives. No political party is above the law, especially when it inconveniences the general public.

Shaina NC also commented on the factionalism within the Karnataka Congress, noting that there are not just two factions but multiple groups. She remarked that Congress leaders are busy undermining each other, and the party’s internal strife is becoming increasingly public. More revelations about the ongoing tensions within Congress are expected in the coming days.
