New Delhi, June 12: Shah Nawaz Hussain, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stated that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) was once a significant party in West Bengal, but now it has lost its relevance. He emphasized that no one is inquiring about the party anymore.
In a recent conversation, Hussain claimed that the TMC’s credibility has diminished. He attributed this to the growing anger among the state’s residents towards the party. According to him, the TMC has failed to serve the public interest, leading to widespread dissatisfaction. He recalled how the TMC was formed by breaking away from the Congress party, noting the historical violence that marked its inception, including attacks on Congress offices by TMC activists.
Hussain pointed out that the current situation within the TMC is one of disarray, with leaders fleeing and no one willing to engage with them. The public’s outrage against the party has reached a boiling point.
He also targeted Abhishek Banerjee, insisting that he must account for his actions to the public. Hussain remarked that Banerjee seems to consider himself the king of West Bengal, but he is now facing scrutiny from law enforcement. He confidently predicted that multiple investigative agencies will soon summon Banerjee for questioning on various issues, dispelling any illusions he may have about his status.
Additionally, Hussain expressed agreement with the Prime Minister’s recent statements, asserting that there was nothing inaccurate in his remarks. He highlighted the contrast between the turmoil in many countries and the rapid development occurring under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in India. He noted that the country’s growth rate is approximately 7.8%, a remarkable achievement given that many nations are experiencing negative growth. He attributed this success to Modi’s effective governance and expressed optimism about witnessing positive outcomes in the near future.
