
Poonch, March 4: Security forces have successfully thwarted another infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LOC). Early Wednesday morning, suspicious activities were detected in the Bhimber Gali area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. The army was already on high alert based on credible intelligence inputs and continuous monitoring. As soon as the movement of terrorists was confirmed, immediate action was taken.
According to the army, vigilant soldiers stationed in the Bhimber Gali sector showcased speed and strategic skill, effectively foiling the infiltration attempt. Troops from the White Knight Corps quickly took charge and, through coordinated action, disrupted the terrorists’ plans. During this operation, no breaches were allowed along the LOC.
Sources indicate that the area was already under strict surveillance. Both ground and aerial monitoring were conducted, enabling timely detection of suspicious activities. Once the movement was confirmed, soldiers initiated a containment strategy and launched a counter-offensive. Thanks to the swift and precise operation, the infiltration plot was completely foiled.
The army reported that following the operation, dominance in the area has been significantly increased. Additional troops have been deployed, and monitoring has been intensified to prevent any future attempts. A high alert has been issued in the sector, and security measures have been reinforced.
The White Knight Corps shared details of this operation on their official social media account, stating, “On the morning of March 4, 2026, based on reliable intelligence inputs and continuous monitoring, movement of terrorists was detected in the common area near the LOC in Bhimber Gali. Responding with tremendous force and demonstrating excellent tactical execution, the vigilant soldiers of the White Knight Corps acted swiftly to thwart the infiltration attempt and deny any breach of the LOC. By conducting ground operations together, the enemy’s plans were effectively disrupted.”
Furthermore, it was noted, “To maintain continuous control over the area, our soldiers have been redeployed, supported by integrated ground and aerial surveillance. A strong operational position and high alert are in effect throughout the sector.”
