Mumbai, August 7: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for job seekers in the banking sector. The State Bank of India (SBI), through its Central Recruitment and Promotion Department located in Mumbai, has announced the recruitment of various Specialist Cadre Officers for 38 positions on a contract or regular basis.
The vacancies include one Deputy Vice President (DVP) for Cyber Innovation and Simulation Lab, one DVP for Citizen-Centric Initiatives, two DVPs for Cyber Security, 25 Deputy Managers specializing in AI, two Deputy Managers as IT Security Experts, three Deputy Managers as Cyber Security Analysts, one Manager for Manpower Planning and Recruitment, one Manager for Learning and Development, one Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Enterprise Architecture), and one Vice President (Enterprise and Technology Architect).
The online application process commenced on August 7 and will close on August 27. Interested candidates can complete their registration on SBI’s official website before the deadline.
Applicants should possess a BE/BTech degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution or university, or an MCA/ME/MTech/MS degree in related subjects, with at least 50% marks. Specializations in Human Resource Management or related fields for MBA/PGDM candidates are also required. Additionally, candidates must have relevant experience and skills as specified for each position.
The age limit for applicants ranges from 25 to 42 years for certain positions and 35 to 50 years for others, calculated as of July 31. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on shortlisting of educational qualifications and experience, followed by interviews and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹1,05,280, with annual CTC for DVPs and other senior roles between ₹60 to ₹170 lakhs. Additional benefits and allowances will also be provided.
During the application process, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, set at ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC categories. Candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories are exempt from the registration fee.
