Jammu, June 30: The Baramulla Police have issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, emphasizing the need for safe and uninterrupted movement of pilgrims. Tourists and travelers heading to Gulmarg are urged to strictly adhere to the traffic restrictions outlined by the Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Headquarters.
According to the advisory, no tourist vehicles will be allowed to travel from Gulmarg to Srinagar after 5 PM. Similarly, vehicles will not be permitted to travel from Srinagar to Gulmarg post 5 PM. These restrictions will be in effect throughout the duration of the pilgrimage. Tourists are advised to plan their journeys in advance and complete their travels within the designated time frame.
Visitors are requested to follow the instructions of police and traffic personnel stationed along the route. Cooperation from all parties is essential to ensure smooth traffic flow and the uninterrupted movement of the pilgrimage convoys.

Meanwhile, Mahamandleshwar Mahant Rameshwar Das addressed the negative perspective from Pakistan regarding the Amarnath Yatra, stating that India is a land of saints. He emphasized that regardless of where individuals reside, they fundamentally belong to the Sanatan tradition. He noted that the Sanatan Dharma is ancient and not created by any individual.
In a recent development, Jammu and Kashmir’s Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar reviewed the preparations for the Amarnath Yatra, while religious leaders provided updates on the arrangements made for the annual pilgrimage.
