Direct Train Service from Jamshedpur to Jaipur to Begin on October 26
A new direct train service between Jamshedpur and Jaipur will launch on October 26, enhancing travel options for passengers.

Jamshedpur, October 23 (Daily Kiran) : A new direct train service connecting Jamshedpur, an industrial city in Jharkhand, to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is set to commence on October 26. The train will be flagged off by Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varun Mahato, with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw participating virtually in the event.
This initiative aims to improve travel convenience for passengers between the two cities. The announcement of the new service was made about a month ago, and it is expected to provide better rail connectivity for residents of Jamshedpur and nearby areas traveling to Jaipur and other regions of Rajasthan. This will particularly benefit those with social and familial ties in Rajasthan, as well as businesspeople, students, and tourists.
The Marwari community in Jamshedpur has long advocated for a direct rail link between Tata Nagar and Jaipur. The Eastern Singhbhum district’s Marwari conference expressed gratitude to MP Mahato for facilitating this initiative.
According to conference representatives, the new train service will ease passenger movement and strengthen social, cultural, and commercial ties between the two regions. Improved rail connectivity is also expected to benefit business-related travel. Additionally, families and tourists will have a direct option for their journeys. The conference emphasized that expanding rail connections is crucial for regional development. While specific details regarding the train’s schedule, stops, and operations have yet to be released, the new service promises to enhance connectivity between Jamshedpur and Jaipur.
