Ranveer Singhs Dhurandhar: The Revenge New Song Phir Se Released, Asks Fans: Are You Crying Too?

Mumbai, March 25: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has taken the box office by storm. In just four days, the film has crossed an impressive ₹761 crore, including paid previews.

While official figures for the remaining days have not been released, it is anticipated that the film will touch the ₹1000 crore mark. Amidst this success, a new song titled ‘Phir Se’ has been launched.

The song ‘Phir Se’ showcases Ranveer Singh’s journey from Jaskeerat Singh Rangi to Hamza Ali. Initially, the song depicts Jaskeerat Singh Rangi enjoying happy moments with his father and family. In contrast, the actor is seen navigating through life’s ups and downs with actress Yalina Jamali. The narrative is visually supported by scenes from the film.

Sung by Arijit Singh, the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil, with music composed by Shashwat Sachdev. The song captures the emotions of Ranveer Singh’s character, who yearns to relive life. He shared the release of the new song on social media, asking fans, “I started crying, did you?”

Notably, several songs from the film have already been released, with ‘Jaan Se Guzarte Hain’ being the most popular, surpassing 7 million views. This track is not original but is inspired by a qawwali written by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The song combines the qawwali’s lyrics with modern music to create a classy rendition. Another well-received song, ‘Aari-Aari,’ is also inspired by Punjabi music. Both tracks have garnered immense love on social media, contributing to the film’s impressive box office collection.
