Ram Mohan Naidu Responds on Ajit Pawar Plane Crash Investigation

New Delhi: Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu has responded to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the investigation into the plane crash involving senior leader Ajit Pawar. In a detailed letter, the minister informed that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has promptly initiated the inquiry, which is being conducted transparently and within a timely framework.

The minister confirmed that the black box of the crashed aircraft has been recovered. The investigation is proceeding according to the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation rules, involving a thorough examination of all technical records, flight operation details, and facts from the crash site.

Addressing the concerns raised by the Chief Minister in his letter, Ram Mohan Naidu assured that necessary measures will be taken immediately after the investigation report is submitted to prevent such incidents in the future. He appealed for cooperation from the Maharashtra government and assured that the local administration will fully support the inquiry. Once completed, the full report will also be handed over to the state government.

Earlier, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had written to the Union Minister demanding a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the exact causes of the crash. The letter emphasized the need for swift and effective steps to avoid similar accidents going forward. The tragic crash claimed the lives of five people including Ajit Pawar, prompting the state government to seek clear information and prompt action from the central authorities.

Ram Mohan Naidu stated that the central government is treating the matter with utmost seriousness and will strengthen safety standards based on the findings of the investigation. The Maharashtra government has also pledged full cooperation in the ongoing probe.
