Mumbai, March 23: The spy action-thriller film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is breaking box office records and gaining immense popularity among audiences. As the excitement around the film grows, some social media users have been sharing videos of key scenes online. In response, actor Rakesh Bedi made a heartfelt appeal on Instagram on Monday.
Portraying the character ‘Jameel Jamali’ in the film, Rakesh Bedi urged viewers not to spoil the experience for others by posting videos related to the film on social media.
In the video, he expressed, “I am very proud to be a part of this film. It has set new records not just in India, but worldwide. This is not just about box office earnings; it is leaving a lasting impression on people’s hearts. The audience reactions have been fantastic, and the collections are unprecedented.”
Rakesh made a special request, stating, “Please refrain from recording scenes or taking photos during the film and posting them on social media. Especially avoid discussing or sharing anything about the climax. Doing so spoils the fun for others, as these become spoilers. You have enjoyed the film; now let others enjoy it too.”
Additionally, Rakesh shared an interesting anecdote. He mentioned a recent encounter with cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar, who expressed his desire to watch the film but was struggling to secure tickets. Rakesh said, “I am trying to arrange some tickets for him. I hope I can manage that. Once again, I urge everyone not to shoot scenes from the film and post them on social media. It is simply not right. You have enjoyed the film; now let others have their turn.”
