Rajeev Chandrasekhar Criticizes Rahul Gandhi as Unreliable Politician

New Delhi, October 1 (Daily Kiran) : In a recent press conference held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, Kerala BJP president Rajeev Chandrasekhar launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He accused Gandhi of relying on lies and misinformation, asserting that the opposition leader lacks a constructive political agenda.

Chandrasekhar reiterated his previous statement, calling Gandhi the “biggest fraud” in Indian politics, and affirmed that he stands by this claim. He labeled Gandhi as an “unreliable politician,” emphasizing that the Congress leader has repeatedly made assertions that have later been proven false.

The BJP leader specifically referenced Gandhi’s allegations regarding electronic voting machines (EVMs) and claims of a theft of democracy. He also recalled Gandhi’s controversial remarks about the 2019 Pulwama attack and the subsequent Balakot airstrike, suggesting that Gandhi had questioned whether the Pulwama incident was orchestrated for electoral gain and had denied the occurrence of the airstrike.

Chandrasekhar further criticized the political dynamics in Kerala, suggesting that despite public displays of disagreement, there is a tacit understanding between Congress and the CPI(M). He accused the Congress-led government of avoiding action against former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, despite evidence of corruption and cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

He stated, “Congress and CPI(M) pretend to be two parties, but in reality, they are one.”

Chandrasekhar also targeted Gandhi’s comments regarding the Sabarimala temple issue, pointing out that despite promises to stand with the temple’s devotees and investigate allegations of gold theft, no arrests have been made, and there has been no progress on the matter.

Additionally, he criticized Gandhi’s recent remarks on patriarchy, questioning his stance in light of Congress’s alliance with the Indian Union Muslim League in Kerala.

Chandrasekhar’s comments come amid escalating political tensions among Congress, CPI(M), and BJP in Kerala, with all three parties trading accusations over electoral processes, corruption, and political violence.

At the start of the press conference, Chandrasekhar praised the bravery of Indian Flydubai pilot Captain Smita Machhar, expressing hope for her swift recovery and calling her courage a source of national pride.
