Rajbhar Challenges Akhilesh to Contest Elections, Questions His Leadership
Om Prakash Rajbhar criticizes Akhilesh Yadav for avoiding elections, challenging him to prove his leadership in the upcoming assembly polls.

Lucknow, November 4 (Daily Kiran) : Om Prakash Rajbhar, president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and a cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has launched a sharp attack on Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party.
In response to rumors that Yadav will not contest in the upcoming assembly elections, Rajbhar has directly challenged him to enter the electoral fray. He remarked, “What kind of leader runs away from elections? Let’s settle this with a direct contest.”
Rajbhar criticized Yadav’s tenure as Chief Minister and questioned his electoral strategies. He expressed skepticism about Yadav’s reliance on superstitions, stating, “I’ve heard you won’t contest any seat in next year’s UP assembly elections. A leader should not shy away from elections. Come, let’s have a face-off.”
He further commented on Yadav’s rise to power, suggesting it was not due to any mystical means but rather because of his family’s political legacy. Now, with the possibility of facing a political setback, Rajbhar implied that Yadav might be looking for excuses to avoid competition.
Rajbhar continued, “Akhilesh, this isn’t a government of the ‘red cap’ brigade, which once ruled the state with superstitions. The people rejected such governance a decade ago, from Noida to Agra, Ayodhya, and Mathura. We have rid ourselves of all such beliefs. Your ghosts and spirits have vanished. You’ve only managed to be Chief Minister once, and now it seems there’s little hope for you. At least show some courage and contest from one seat. Are you afraid of the challenge?”
He concluded with a pointed remark about Yadav’s priorities, saying, “You had time to stop for sweets at a crossroad, but not to bow your head at the shrine of Baba Vishwanath. You could have sought blessings at the nearby temple of Kal Bhairav, where all your superstitions might have been resolved.”
