Rahul Gandhi to Visit Vadodara for Tribal Rights Conference

New Delhi, March 23: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will visit Vadodara on Monday. He will participate in a gathering focused on tribal rights. This event comes as the Congress party prepares for the upcoming local body elections in Gujarat.

Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to attend the ‘Tribal Constitutional Rights Conference’ from 1 PM to 4 PM. Members from various tribal communities across central and eastern Gujarat are expected to attend this conference.

Rajendra Kumar Pargi, the president of the Tribal Congress of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC), confirmed that Rahul Gandhi will be in Vadodara for this one-day visit. He stated, “Rahul Gandhi will be in Gujarat on March 23 and will participate in an event in Vadodara. The conference will run from 1 PM to 4 PM, and we expect a large turnout.”

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi may also meet with Congress leaders in Gujarat to review preparations for the upcoming local body elections and by-elections.

This visit follows the Congress party’s recent establishment of several state-level committees to organize its electoral strategy in Gujarat. The party has formed separate committees for strategy, campaign management, electoral operations, manifesto preparation, and media outreach.

Senior leader Bharat Singh Solanki has been appointed as the head of the strategy committee, while Rajya Sabha MP Shakti Singh Gohil will lead the campaign committee. Senior leader Siddharth Patel has been designated as the head of the election management committee.

An official from the party mentioned that these committees are tasked with planning the campaign and overseeing electoral operations across all local bodies in the state.

Over the past year, Rahul Gandhi has been focusing on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state, making several visits as part of his campaign to improve the party’s organization.
