Mumbai, April 16: In the film industry, the return of an experienced singer after a long hiatus always piques audience interest. Renowned singer Rabbi Shergill has made a much-anticipated comeback to film music, exciting his fans. His new song ‘Talash’ is generating buzz as part of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming film, ‘Main Actor Nahi Hoon.’

Directed by Aditya Kriplani, the film is set to release in theaters on May 8. Discussions about the film have already been intense, and the release of ‘Talash’ has only heightened the intrigue. The song deeply conveys the film’s narrative and emotions.

He said, “I have been a fan of Rabbi’s songs for a long time, and I even got a line from one of his songs tattooed on my arm. ‘Talash’ is intricately linked to the film’s story, showcasing themes of loneliness and the importance of relationships. This song enhances the film’s narrative.”

As for the film, ‘Main Actor Nahi Hoon’ presents a unique storyline. It features actress Chitrangada Satarupa Mauni, who portrays a character struggling with her career. During this time, she meets Adnan Beg, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, through an online audition.

Adnan is a retired and melancholic individual. Their communication begins via video calls and gradually transforms into an emotional journey where both confront their vulnerabilities and feelings.

The film is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Kriplani, with co-production by Shweta Chhabria Kriplani and Faizuddin Siddiqui.
