Chandigarh, May 4: Rana Gurmeet Singh Sohti, a senior leader of the Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday for the party’s historic and record-breaking victories in recent assembly elections across key states.
Describing the election results as a clear and decisive mandate, Sohti stated that the outcomes affirm the public’s unwavering trust in strong leadership, good governance, and a development-oriented approach.
He emphasized that this historic mandate is a powerful testament to Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership and Home Minister Shah’s exceptional organizational skills and strategic clarity. Jakhar expressed confidence that similar electoral results would be seen in Punjab in 2027.
